In April a strategy decision was made to conduct a fundraiser, Campaign-06, focusing for convenience on members living in the United States. Donations are still being received, and as we go to press, total donations are approaching $13,000. Money left from the Dar05 trip and other individual contributions bring total donations to about $26,000 over the past 12 months. This amount does not include money spent by individuals on various computer and other projects. TEAA has also received a grant of $30,000 from the All Is One Foundation to continue our work of assisting schools in East Africa. To contribute to Campaign-06, you can send your check made out to TEAA to our treasurer, Henry Hamburger, 6400 Wynkoop Blvd., Bethesda, MD, 20817-5934. TEAA is a 501c3 organization under the US tax code, and donations are tax-exempt. |
