[This letter was sent to Betty Castor and Sam Bell, with a copy to your editor, to express appreciation for the thirty 3-year old Dell desktop computers from Sam's law firm that Sam and Betty shipped to Nkumba University.] Dear Friends, I am writing on behalf of our chancellor, Dr. Margaret Kigozi, the Trustees, Council, Senate and the entire community of Nkumba University, and on my own behalf to thank you for the generous donation of 30 (thirty) computers which you made to the University and MacKay College, Nateete. Your donation and role-model will go a long way towards enhancing not only computer literacy and proficiency at Nkumba University and at my alma mater, MacKay College, Nateete, but will also help Nkumba to fulfill its mission of producing confident, competent and creative students who can contribute positively to national development. All the computers arrived in excellent condition, and are already in good use, and have helped greatly in ameliorating the critical shortage. Ten were given to MacKay College, Nateete. It was a great joy to meet you both and to get to know you. Your names have been entered into our Golden Book of Friends of Nkumba University.
