Bus

Note:   "Selous" is pronounced suh-LOO.

As we were riding to Selous,
We saw a man in quite a stew.
His tilting bus in front of us
Was knee-deep in a slough.

Ngiri

Out of the brush we saw him stride.
Warthog! Warthog! we all cried.
And before the driver could slow the ride,
He vanished! ...on the other side.

Baobab

We saw a mighty baobab,
Its girth too great to grab,
Nor in any direction
Obtain a cross-section
To analyze in the lab.
